An unofficial book dump formed at the bottom of Hereford House (mainly teaching books now defunct with on-line learning). They had become weathered and the first book I opened ‘The Diary of Fanny Burney’ illustrated by Eric Ravilious had been hollowed out probably to hide cash in years gone by – again sadly not needed as we move towards a more cashless society
