Screen light has replaced candlelight from previous centuries to create a domestic twilight before sleep where anxieties are magnified. Being 50 coincided with my daughter being ill and the pandemic. She is better but my sadness lingered. Set within the confines of the home reminiscent of lockdown and the Zoom era these self portraits from 2019-2021 examine ageing, parenthood and health anxiety.
